What's eligible for a refund?

If you bought your ticket through American Airlines, you can request a refund for:

  • Baggage fees
  • Pet fees
  • Priority
  • Preferred seats
  • Main Cabin Extra seats
  • Same-day flight change
  • The ticket of a deceased passenger

If you bought your ticket from a travel agent or on another website, contact them for refund help.
