Travelling more comfortably

Modern commercial aeroplanes are well known for being extremely safe and comfortable. Nonetheless, following a series of recommendations can render all flights more salutary, and those that last over three hours in particular.

  • Pressure changes. It is advisable to avoid heavy meals or flatulent food as of the day before the flight. Our onboard menus are designed to avoid using ingredients that may cause discomfort.
  • Humidity. The relative humidity in the cabin is lower than usual and may cause slight dehydration. Avoid coffee and alcohol as of the day before departure. You may find it beneficial to increase your liquid intake during the flight.
  • Space and movement. The space available and possibility of movement are limited. We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing and stowing hand luggage in a position where it will not hinder free leg movement.
