East Coast U.S. Travel Information
Current Operations
Due to severe weather projected for the Northeast this week, American Airlines and American Eagle are suspending operations on Nov. 7, in Philadelphia (PHL) at noon and at all New York-area airports by 3 p.m. You may check the status of your flight here.
Operations at these airports are expected to start up again the morning of Thursday, Nov. 8. American and American Eagle have canceled 365 flights to, from and through these airports on Nov. 7 and 8. Additional delays and cancellations may occur as American resumes operations in New York and Philadelphia.
American has partnered with the American Red Cross to aid people affected by the storm. To donate, please visit our relief efforts page.

Options for our Customers
Customers whose tickets were issued no later than Nov. 6 and are scheduled to travel Nov. 7 or Nov. 8 on American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection flights to, from or through the airports listed below may change flights without penalty, have the ticket-reissue charge waived for one ticket change, and begin travel as late as Nov. 15 under American's current travel waiver

The ticket reissue charge will be waived for one ticket change. NOTE: Due to the extension of this travel policy, customers who made a previous change are allowed an additional change at no charge.
