When travelling to the airport, please allow yourself plenty of time. To help you on your way we have some travel suggestions below, but please check with the relevant operator before setting off to ensure you have the most up to date information.
Bus
Manchester Airport has a comprehensive bus network serving areas in and around the city. The buses operate to and from the airport on a half-hourly basis, starting early in the morning until late in the night.
On the airport roads look out for the colour-coded cubes for each terminal, these indicate the best route to take to each terminal and its car parks for short of long stay parking. When approaching the airport you need to get into the appropriate lane as marked by the coded cube.
At all terminals there is a designated area where you can drop off or pick up passengers.
National Express run an extensive range of coach services to and from Manchester Airport covering the whole of the UK. Services run daily to Terminal 1 Bus Station and Terminal 2 Arrivals Hall, (for Terminal 3, use Terminal 1 facilities).
