1American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles will be awarded to the primary cardholder only after first use of new card account within 90 days of opening the account. Please allow four to six weeks after your transaction appears on your credit card statement for AAdvantage® miles to be credited to your American Airlines AAdvantage® account. Offer may be changed, withdrawn, or extended at any time and cannot be combined with any other offer.

3Fuel purchases include (diesel, petrol or LPG Autogas) from any fuel stations in the UK including supermarkets; Supermarket spend within the UK; American Airlines flights booked at americanairlines.co.uk or via American Airlines call centre. Supermarket and Fuel spend is broken down by a Merchant Category Code (MCC), also called SIC Code. This is a numeric merchant classification code that identifies a merchant based on the type of business they conduct and the transactions they process. Once a supermarket or fuel transaction is posted to an account, MBNA will automatically recognise the MCC and will add 3 points for every £1 spent for the first 6 months in which the account is opened.

5If you do not pay your balance in full we will use your payments to reduce lower rate balances before higher rate balances. If promotional rate balances are the same we will repay them in the following order: first, the one with the earliest expiry date; if the expiry dates are the same then the one which started first; if the expiry dates, and start dates are the same then the one with the lowest standard rate. Promotional rates will no longer apply from the beginning of any statement period during which you have breached your terms and conditions.
If you have two or more promotional offers at the same rate, we will use your payments to reduce any promotional balance with the lowest standard rate last, even if this offer ends first. This could mean that any such balance may not have been reduced by the time the standard rate applies to it.
American Airlines reserves the right to change AAdvantage® program rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers at any time without notice and to end the AAdvantage® program with six months notice. Any such changes may affect your ability to use the mileage awards or credits that you have accumulated. Members may not be able to obtain all offered awards at all times or use awards for all destinations or on all flights. AAdvantage® travel awards, mileage accrual and special offers are subject to government regulations.
