Q: I received a notice from DealFinder that my preferred fare was found, but when I tried to confirm the fare on AA.com, it shows as not available. Why can't I obtain the advertised DealFinder price?
A: Please note that fares are based on availability and can quickly change due to the various methods of making a reservation, (telephone sales, travel agencies, travel websites, etc). Every flight has a specified number of seats available to sell at different prices and once the lowest fare sells out, the next fare applies. Additionally, certain promotional fares may be introduced for a limited period, so depending on the amount of time that has passed between the time you received your DealFinder alert and when you tried to book your reservation online, the dates you initially specified could have sold out. Should you have difficulty finding the fare you received, please select alternate dates or if you need assistance, please Contact AA.
